Happy Halloween!  Where did October go?  Seems like yesterday I was just starting to think of what Halloween cookies to make and now that time has come.  I love how much fun Halloween is, what creative costumes people come up with and eating tons of candy.  Let me know what your favorite part of Halloween is.  I have a few more easy Halloween cookies to share with you today. 

The trick or treat ribbon cookie cutter is from Whisked Away.  They currently don't have it on their site, but I think it will be back up soon.  The cookie cutter creates the different sections so it makes decorating really easy.  I piped and flooded the orange first, allowed it to dry and then filled in the black sections.  Then I painted on the words and some antiquing detail along the edges.  I also piped on a spider web.

The next cookies I made were these triangle pumpkins.  These cookies can be made using any pumpkin cookie cutter you have.  Pipe and flood the cookie with white icing and allow it to dry for 24 hours.  Then I took my new Duff air brush machine and air brushed on the design.  I use this triangle stencil.  I sprayed on a set of triangles, then offset the stencil and sprayed on the next color.  I kept doing this until the whole pumpkin was covered.

The final cookie I made was this witch.  I saw a sign that said this and thought it would make a cute cookie.  I used this plaque cookie cutter.  I painted this entire cookie instead of piping and flooding it.  I piped and flooded the cookie with white icing.  After it was dry, I used watered-down ivory food coloring to create the antique background.  Then I painted on the rest.
