For most young kids, going to visit Santa Claus is always the highlight of the Christmas season.  Once you get too old to see Santa, you have to wait until you have kids.  Since I don't have children, I bring my dogs to see him.  Our local dog supply store has the Santa pictures and I look forward to it each year.

This cookie cutter was part of a set by Nordic Ware that I purchased at Target a few years ago.  It's one of the cookie cutters that imprints on the cookie so I had a decorating guide.  I started out by piping and flooding the beards with white icing.  Once the white was dry, I added the face and let that dry overnight.  The next day, I added the hat's red section first then the white.  While the white was still wet, I added white sanding sugar.   The final touches were adding on the mustache and face.
