December Daily- Chevron Christmas Trees
I wanted to post Christmas trees today because putting up the Christmas tree is the first thing we do to get ready for Christmas. Ever since I was young, I always dreamed of having a very tall Christmas tree. A few years back we purchased a 9 foot tree because we have vaulted ceiling in our home. We decided to put our Christmas tree in the office this year. Normally we put the tree up the day after Thanksgiving, but we had to wait a few extra days because we had fresh paint on the walls. We have always had it in the living room, but it was a hassle to move everything around to fit it in. It worked out well this year having the office all cleared out for the painter. It made setting up the tree a breeze.
Everyone knows by now that I love chevron; it just works! I wanted to use a non-traditional Christmas color scheme on these trees. Red and aqua is one of my favorite color combination - they were even my wedding colors. I followed the same steps I outlined in this post to make these cookies.
This is my view from my new desk. Pretty festive! Hope everyone has a wonderful time getting their home decorated for the holidays.
