As I've mentioned before I love owls!  I'm always excited and happy when I get a request to make owl cookies.  I made this order of owls similar to these I made a few months back.  I used the same cookie cutter from here.  I had to manipulate the cut-dough to hide the bow on the owl's head because these cookies were for a little boy.  I also made them with a different color scheme.  I decorated the cookies following the same steps I did before.  I made the midsection differently, I flooded it with a contrasting color and added squiggly lines.  Last time I made royal icing transfers for the eyes.  This time I just piped them on. I hope Luke had a great birthday and enjoyed the cookies!
