I woke up today to two inches of snow on the ground.  We don't receive snow that often, so it really put me in the Christmas spirit.  After I took the dogs for their morning walk, I made a big mug of hot cocoa.  My cocoa was just like the cookie with marshmallows and whip cream.  When I was a kid my mom would always make us hot cocoa with milk.  Now I just make cocoa with my Keurig machine. 

To make this cookie, I sketched out the mug shape with a food coloring marker. I filled in the cocoa section with brown icing first.  While the icing was still wet, I added a few mini marshmallows.  Next, I piped and flooded the green mug.  I added red dots to the wet green icing.  I added whip cream with a number 2424 tip and steam coming from the top of the mug.  I painted the steam gray to add realism.
