Mystery Shape Monday- Leprechaun
This week it's Mystery Shape Tuesday. I just came home from my Spring Break trip and I'm still on Caribbean-Island time. That's why I'm a day late with the Mystery Shape Monday post. I hope you get some time to relax in the next few weeks.
I haven't done a Mystery Shape post in awhile now, and I though St. Patrick's Day would be a great time to start again. I hope you have a fun time trying to figure out which cookie cutter I used to create these little guys.
I wanted to paint the faces of the leprechauns similar to how I painted these Santa faces. I think they turn out well. It's hard to each cookie to look alike when painting the faces. The perfectionist in me hates this, but I'm trying to go with it. To achieve the deep green for the leprechaun hats, I used forest green and leaf green. For the beards, I combined orange, warm brown, and terracotta AmeriColor gel pastes.
If you need some help with which cookie cutter, I used here is a link to where you can get your own. Hopefully soon I can make some bouquets with the cutter.
