Harvest Time

With fall right around the corner, harvest time is coming soon.  In June, I took a floral arranging class at a local farm called Whipstone Farm.  I learned something new, which is always fun.  I know I'm not as good at floral arranging as I am decorating cookies.  I visit Whipstone at the Prescott farmer's market on a weekly basis.  I love spoting local farmers and knowing where my food was grown.

The last time I used the beet cutter was to create these cookies.  I used the beet for a Mystery Shape Monday.  There is kind of a Mystery Shape Monday in this set.  I used a sand dollar to make the lettuce.  All of the cutters came from the same Esty shop except for the sand dollar.  Sadly this shop has closed.  I used a 104 petal tip to create the lettuce and top of the beet, and used a 352 leaf tip for the carrot and turnip tops.  These cookies remind me of the last harvest set I made with mason jars.

Kyle saw a sticker that said "Lettuce Turnip the Beet" at our yoga studio.  This is my cookie version of that sticker for Kyle.
