Wow, December is already here! If you have not heard of December Daily, it's a scrap-booking project that documents the 25 days of the holiday season. This would be my fourth year making one. However, this year I wanted to do something different. I decided to make a different cookie for the each of the 25 days for my December Daily, a big task no doubt. Advent started yesterday, so I decided to make the an Advent wreath as my first December Daily Cookie today. For the last four years, I've made an Advent Wreath in cookie form; It's one of my favorite projects that I look forward to every year.
For this wreath I used a few different snowflake cookie cutters I have. I used larger snowflakes for the base of the wreath and smaller ones to represent the candles and for filler. I piped and flooded the base snowflakes with three different shades of green. The filler snowflakes a darker evergreen color. This is always a pretty simple project, but each year it turns out so differently. I already have next year's design and can't wait to show you.
