I first created a geometric cookie at Christmas time when I made these reindeer heads. More recently I made some geometric elephants for my sister's graduation party. I like making geometric cookies because there isn't a set pattern.
For this unicorn, I used this cookie cutter. After baking the cookies, I took a ruler and started drawing intersecting, random lines with a food coloring marker. Next I picked out what color pallet I wanted to use. I already had some blue and pink icing made, so I went with two more coordinating colors. I started with the blue icing and filled in about seven to eight non-touching spaces. I continued on until I had covered the whole unicorn head, allowing time for each color to dry in between colors.
