Emojis have become increasingly popular because of all the texting people do. I love sending odd random emojis to my husband. It's a way to have fun and be silly at the same time. One of the most popular emojis is the pile of poo. Why not? What more needs to be said? Just send the pile of poo emoji and it explains everything.
I normally don't purchase cutters that are so trendy because I end up only using them one or two times. I just could not say NO to this one! This cutter can be purchased here. The one saving grace this cutter has is that it looks like ice cream, so I figured I could re-purpose it.
These cookies are pretty simple to make. They only require three colors of icing (brown, black, and white). I started off by piping the outline of the cookies. Then I piped three lines connecting the scalloped edges. The diagram blow shows where I piped those lines. If you want, you can drawn the lines on before hand with a food coloring marker. At the top, I made a little Curly-Q.
Then I came back and flooded alternating sections of the cookie. I allowed those to dry for about 20 to 30 minutes. This created the lines defining each section. Then I filled in the remaining sections. The next day, I piped on the face. I free-handed mine but if you want them to be all uniform, you could make a temple to follow.
