Conversation Hearts

Valentine's Day was always a fun day when I was in grade school.   I would exchanging valentines with all my classmates and we always received heart cookies at lunch time.  One of best part was we didn't have to wear our parochial school uniforms; we could wear red or pink.  That was a big deal when I was kid.

As a kid I was not a big fan of conversation hearts.  I thought they had a funny chalky taste.  I would only eat the orange one and I don't know why.  I made some conversation hearts a long time ago when I first started making cookies.  I didn't even take a picture of them, that's how long ago it was.  This year I made two set of hearts: one that had the regular messages and the other set has yoga messages on them.

I attend barre class every Friday at my yoga studio, so I brought the yoga-themed cookies to share with all my barre ladies.  I had fun combining yoga and Valentine's Day sayings!
