I always love when I receive request for baby shower cookies. There are so many fun themed baby showers these days. These cookies didn't have any super elaborate details. Sometimes simple is better.
Little feet are synonymous with baby showers. I like them because they are pretty easy to make, but it can be hard to find ways to make them special. I used this foot cookie cutter. For the feet, I used a light pink icing. I piped and flooded the foot and allowed it to dry. For the toe, I used #3 tip. Once piped, I took my scribe and dragged it through the piped toes to help avoid cratering. The next day I airbrushed the cookies to get them to "pop". I used pink sheen and this polka dot stencil. I really like the tone-on-tone look. Then I adhered a small white heart sprinkle to the foot.
For the crown/tiara I used this crown cookie cutter. I piped and flooded it with light yellow icing. The next day I airbrushed with gold sheen. I let the airbrushing dry for a few hours. Then I added sugar pearls and a pink heart sprinkle too. I used the same light pink icing to connect the heart to the pearls and pipe the baby's name.
