You can't have Christmas without reindeer. I've made many different reindeer over the years. This year I wanted to try something different. The inspiration for these came from all the images I've been seeing on Esty, like the ones here.
I used this cookie cutter to make the cookies, but this design can be applied to any animal shape. I really want to try it with a fox or giraffe. This is the color pallet I used for the icing colors. I wanted a color pallet that had grey and soft lighter colors. I only used five of the colors. I started out by drawing the geometric shapes on the cookie with a food coloring marker. (shown below) Then I filled in each section with a different color making sure two touching shapes were not the same color.
