Since I grew up in Minnesota, I'm accustomed to having a "White Christmas" (At least 75% of the time). Now in Arizona, I only have a 10% chance. It's not quite the same without snow, but at least I don't have to shovel it! I decided to make a winter scene as a memory of a past childhood White Christmas.
I found this shape for my Silhouette and just knew I had to make it into a cookie. I used this cookie cutter to make the cookie. I cut out the shape on my Silhouette and then traced it onto the cookie with a food coloring marker. I started by filling in the teal section and allowing it to dry for a few hours then coming back and filling in the white. The snowflakes were then piped on when the white icing was still wet. I think it came out well, however, nest time I would use a smaller tip to do the piping.
