Home is where the heart is and family is a big part of making a home. All of my family is located in Minnesota but I really consider Arizona home. Recently I've been making many home themed cookie sets. The top set I made for my sister who purchased a new home in August. Yesterday she had a house warming party and I sent her some cookies since I couldn't be there. I saw a "HOME" sign with a state silhouette as the "O" on Pinterest and thought it would look cool as a cookie. My sister loves grey so I combined that with with teal and yellow for the color scheme.
Kyle kept telling me that the year is 2016 and the house warming party is not in the future. He didn't believe me when I told him the 2017 is for the house number and not the year.
This Georgia set was made for a friend who moved back home. Returning home is always a great feeling. I'm so happy my friend is made it back to Georgia safely. Both of these cutters can be found over at Truly Mad Plastic. The stencil I used on the Georgia cookies can be found here.
