Happy Thanksgiving! I hope you are enjoying this festive day of parades, dog shows, football and food. I'm spending Thanksgiving with Kyle's co-worker's family. I was able to talk to my family in Minnesota via Skype. Even if I don't get to spend the holiday with them, it's nice to see them.
I made this turkey cookie platter to bring to the Thanksgiving dinner. I've been wanting to make one of these for years. I couldn't believe how easily this was to make. For the feathers I used Sweet Sugarbelle's holiday platter set. There are many retailers that carry this set. I picked mine up here. The set has two sizes of leaves that work perfectly for the turkey feathers. I picked up this Lilaloa turkey cutter last year and was excited to finally use it. I used navy blue to change up the normal fall color palette.
