Today is my dog Kirby's 8th birthday. We got Kirby when we lived in California. Over the years he's traveled with us, made us laugh, and been the best dog we could ever ask for.
I tried to make Kirby in cookie form to celebrate his big day. What do you think? Does it look like him? The cookie turned out too block-headed than he really is. I need to work on his eyes too. Hopefully I can learn for this cookie when I make one of Sasha for her birthday in July. A few years back, I made these cookies for Kirby's birthday.
One thing I do every year on Kirby's birthday is take a picture of Kirby in his birthday hat. I made this little hat for his 1st birthday and I make him wear it each year. You can see each year he tolerates the hat less and less. I have to bribe him with many treats just to get the picture now. Do you celebrate your pet's birthday?
