Happy New Year everyone! I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday season. I made many Christmas cookies this year but was lazy and didn't post them. I could post them now, but I'm going to just start with a clean slate.
For the New Year, Kyle's parents and I traveled to Pasadena California to see the Rose Bowl Parade. It was the first time seeing the parade in person for all of us. We had a good time, but you can see more watching it at home. Kyle and I were super excited because the theme was "Find Your Adventure". The National Park Service is celebrating its 100th Birthday this year. Kyle and I were disappointed that the National Parks were not represented more on the floats.
Here are some of the pictures I took of the floats. I only had a macro lens on my camera, so it was hard to get pictures of the whole float. The post-parade float viewing opened an hour late and the lighting was difficult.
