I'm a little behind on posting week two of my 100 inspiring women. Now that school is out, I'm going to get caught up on the posts.
I started out the week with Rosa Parks.
I'm still struggling with the arm placement on many of the women. Sally ended up having some short stubby arms.
One of the things I like about this project is that I'm learning a lot about women I knew nothing about before. Indira Gandhi is one of those women I didn't know about before I started this project.
Lucille Ball is one of my favorites so far in this project. I just think she is so darn cute!.
I'm really happy with how Ella and Harriet turned out. I'm getting the hang of making skin tone icing.
I ended the second week with Marie Curie. I enjoyed that I was able to do some painting to the last three ladies. When I first thought of about this project, I considered using just white icing and painting all the ladies. I happy didn't go that route.
